Use only at night. First cleanse face, then using the pipette drop a small amount (pea sized) of product onto your face and with clean hands gently massage in all over. You can moisturise after 15 minutes. If you suffer from dry skin you can also moisturise 15 minutes before *see details below. Wash hands after use.
If you have mild pilling or redness reduce or cease use or try the sandwich method of using moisturiser then retinol them moisturiser again.
Beauty Tip: You can also use this serum on your body such as Hands and Legs.
Application Tips: Start with one nightly application. If dryness or peeling occurs reduce application to every other day or once every two days until your skin builds up the tolerance to Retinol.
Patch testing is crucial 24 hours before use to ensure no adverse reactions to the ingredients. Do not use if you experience intense burning, itching, peeling, redness or puffiness as this may be an allergic reaction or sensitivity to the product formula. In this instance apply a cold compress to the area and seek medical advice if symptoms persist. Avoid application to the inner eye area - ideally aim to use around the eye bone area. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using the week after. Not for use on sensitive skin. If you develop irritation, severe dryness, peeling or swelling of eyes and mouth rinse off, cease use and consult a physician right away. Keep out of reach of children. This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Do not use if you're pregnant, breast-feeding or trying to conceive. Retinol Can be irritating so use as tolerated and it's important to use slowly if you've not used retinol before.
*If you have sensitive skin, you can use the sandwich method of application to ensure your skin can build up a tolerance to the product prior to use. To do this you can apply moisturiser first, wait 15 minutes and apply the retinol, wait 15 minutes and then apply moisturiser again. The moisturiser acts as a buffer to prevent the product absorbing as much.
